Final video: Following Water

The final video shows how the city and people effect the most important resource of life. Water, starts clean and sustains life, but when we get ahold of it, becomes a killer. Masaru Emoto has done research to prove how water effects the lives of people. I suggest anyone go look at what he has found, after watching the video of course!

30 seconds of film with sound

The second video has sound and some new footage. The sound sets a rhythm to and helps the video. listen carefully to hear the manmade sounds vs. natural sounds.

30 seconds of edited film

Once I got back from a few of my walks, I came up with 30 seconds of footage that could possibly be part of my final video. A main theme of the video is water. I am not sure what to say about the water so far, but it is an underlying theme through out my footage. So sit back and enjoy footage of one of my favorite places.

Glacial Park. Richmond, IL

Glacial Park is one of my most favorite places in the world! I grew up getting lost in the woods, and here you can do it without getting in trouble. The ever changing landscape consumes anyone who wanders through this park.

Fox Lake, IL

This is a walk that was not even originally intended, but since I was forced to go here to wait for the train I figured I would walk around and see what I could find.

Chicago!

I went to Chicago for my first walk, a couple of times actually... but due to technical difficulties with my camera this is the walk that i got all of my recording on. It is too easy to get lost in a city that swallows itself.

Drift Strategy

For my Drift 2 walk, I will be taking several different walks. One in the country, another in a smaller town, and one in the the metropolis of Chicago. I will try to blend all three of these aspects of life to show how they may effect each other. I am excited to see what footage and sound I can find in these places.
